    Athlete registrations for World Masters Games 2017 close 3 March 2017 (NZT). You must register by this date if you plan to compete in the Games. Note that further sports, disciplines or events will close early if they reach capacity as numbers are strictly limited.

  • The Jason Hooper story

    Jason Hooper is a Para-Sport-Swimmer and has entered a number of different events in the World Masters Games 2017 - 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle and 50m Breastroke. His goal is to swim his fastest and maintain his competiveness, whilst meeting new friends. World Masters Games 2017 will be Jason’s second WMG event - he competed in the 2009 edition held in Sydney, Australia, and won a silver medal in the 50m Freestyle.
