Registered World Masters Games 2017 participants are invited to two participant-only parties at the Entertainment Hub each Saturday night of the Games, as well as an event in Waipa on Friday 28 April. They will celebrate the coming together of more than 28,000 participants from over 100 countries, all for the love of sport.

Superhero Saturday

On Saturday 22 April celebrate the superhero in you by donning your costume and suiting up. Come as your favourite masked adventurer or supervillain. With Motor City Family Funk to rescue the dancefloor, it's a night to let your heroism shine.

Waipa Participant Party

Celebrate the final day of competition in Waipa on Friday 28 April at the Cambridge Town Hall. Join in with the whole community to celebrate your success at a pop-up outdoor family event with food trucks, stalls and performances.

Step inside the beautiful surrounds of the Cambridge Town Hall for this exclusive, participant-only social event. Built in 1909, the Cambridge Town Hall is an iconic venue of Edwardian design.

Dance the night away as Waikato 6-piece Sir Brown covers all your favourite songs, including a great mix of Motown, Soul and top 40 pop tunes. The event will be hosted by NZ comedy star Paul Douglas who’ll have you doubled over with laughter.

The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a complimentary beverage.
